What Is an Instant Photo Booth?

An instant photo booth is a self-contained photography station where guests pose, snap and collect a printed photo in seconds. It combines a professional camera and studio-grade lighting with a customisable print template, a backdrop and a selection of props. Prints are produced on-site using dye-sublimation technology, making them smudge-resistant and built to last for years after any event, big or small, intimate or grand. Digital copies are shared separately via QR code or an online gallery after the event.

Count down and check the live preview

When everyone’s ready, our staff kicks off a quick countdown. Strike a pose then wait for the flash to go off. A live preview monitor lets you adjust your pose and see exactly how the shot will look before it’s taken.

Check out your photo on the monitor

Once the photo is taken, it’s displayed on the monitor so guests can see how their poses turned out. You’ll then have several seconds of live preview to get ready for the next photo-taking.

Collect your print and grab the digital copy

Your high-quality instant photo prints are ready in under 10 seconds. Digital copies are also available, so you can share the moment before you’ve even left the venue.

Our Instant Photo Booth Setup

Every FunCo photo machine rental comes with the same inclusions: unlimited prints, a customised border, a backdrop, props and an on-site attendant. But not every event calls for the same setup. Here are the options our event company in Singapore has to offer, so you can pick the one that fits your venue, your crowd and your look.

Space and power requirement (all setups): A clear floor area of 3m x 3m x 2.5mH, 2 tables, and one 13A power socket within 5 metres. The 360 Degree booth requires a slightly larger footprint of 4m x 4m.

Print-First Booths

For events where guests leave with something physical. These three formats all produce high-quality instant prints but differ in the experience they create around the photo.

• Instant Photo Booth: Studio-grade DSLR camera, 6-second print speed, standard open-air footprint. The most versatile setup: fits most venues, keeps the queue moving and works at scale. Good default for corporate family days, dinner and dance events and weddings.
• Walk-In Photo Booth: An enclosed booth that fits three to four guests at once. Guests step inside rather than posing in front of the backdrop, which tends to produce more relaxed and lively photos. Works well at high-traffic corporate events and celebrations where you want a clear focal point in the room.
• Luxury Photo Booth: Premium framing, elevated finishing and a white-glove attendant service. The setup is more considered, the output more polished. A natural fit for galas, awards evenings and weddings where presentation matters as much as the print itself.

Video and Motion Booths

For events where shareable digital content is the point. Both formats deliver output digitally via QR code, rather than as a physical print.

• 360 Degree Photo Booth: A slow-motion 360° video booth that captures guests from every angle in a single rotating shot. Popular at product launches and weddings for the theatrical quality of the output. Requires a larger 4m x 4m footprint.

FunCo instant photo booth hire packages are priced by duration.

All packages include unlimited prints, a personalised print border, on-site attendant, delivery, setup and teardown.

Prices are for standard venues in mainland Singapore. A surcharge of $100 applies for events at Sentosa, Tuas and Jurong Island.

Additional hours can be added at $250 per hour, subject to availability. Custom backdrop design, GIF/boomerang add-ons and other extras are priced separately. Ask when you enquire and we’ll put together an accurate quote.
