Time Crisis 2 is a 1997 Namco arcade light gun shooter where two players take on the role of special agents battling enemy operatives across cinematic action levels. How does the foot pedal system work?
Each player station has a foot pedal at floor level. Press the pedal to make your on-screen character pop up and shoot. Release the pedal to make the character duck behind cover, dodging enemy fire. The pedal-and-shoot rhythm becomes the core gameplay loop — finding the right moments to expose yourself, take shots, then duck back to safety.
How many players can play at once?
The machine supports 2 players in co-op mode — players work together to clear levels rather than compete against each other.
Is the game suitable for kids?
Time Crisis 2 features stylised action gameplay with espionage combat. It's generally suitable for older kids (around 10+) and adults. For younger children's events, we'd recommend our 80's retro arcade machine with family-friendly classics like Pac-Man and Donkey Kong.

What's the difference between token play and free play?
Free play means guests can play unlimited games without any tokens — ideal for corporate events, family days, and casual entertainment. Token play requires guests to insert tokens to play each game, which adds an authentic arcade feel and is popular for carnival-themed events, charity fundraisers, and prize redemption setups.
What are the dimensions of the machine?
The machine measures 150cm wide x 150cm deep x 208cm tall. For player comfort and venue planning, allow approximately 2m x 2.5m of floor space plus standing room for two players. Ceiling clearance of at least 220cm is required. Note that the foot pedal system means players need clear space to duck and move dynamically during gameplay.
Can the machine fit through standard doorways?
Standard residential and office doorways are typically 80–90cm wide, and the machine is 150cm wide. Most commercial venues with double doors, loading bays, or service lifts can accommodate the machine, but please confirm venue access at the point of booking — including doorway widths, lift dimensions, and any tight corridor turns.
What power requirements does the machine need?
A single standard 13A power socket within reach of the machine is all that's required. The machine is plug-and-play with no additional electrical setup needed.
Can I host a high-score competition with this machine?

Can the arcade machine be set up outdoors?

The lift should accommodate a cabinet 208cm tall and 150cm wide — confirm lift dimensions at the point of booking. Goods lifts at most office buildings, hotels, and convention centres are typically large enough.
Can I rent multiple arcade machines for one event?
